What happened

Employee was working with another employee to add a wooden truss to a stack in the yard. The top truss was off center and so both employees attempted to shift it into place. [REDACTED] pulled on the truss on one side while the other employee pushed. [REDACTED] then felt a sharp pain in his hand. He initially assumed he had pinched it between the wood but when he removed his hand he realized he had sliced through the nail of his left ring finger at an angle. He believes the cut was caused by a spike plate on the truss.
