Before the incident

While moving glass from a damaged pallet that was tipped on its side the employee got an empty box to put the glass in. He positioned himself between the damaged pallet and the new box of glass to transfer the glass. The glass from the damaged pallet struck him while he was transferring the glass from the damaged pallet to a new pallet. The glass struck him on the leg and pinned him to the floor with the glass on top of his legs. He was able to extricate himself from the glass with the assistance of another employee and then the two of them worked together
