What happened

I was counting out Med rm 3. I had difficulty with 1 pill bottle and it suddenly opened. My hand quickly moved with the lid and I felt a small pop followed immediately by numbness tingling and pain which radiated from thumb and pointer across palm to ulnar side of hand. Numbness and tingling resolved withing a couple of minutes. Pain has continued to be intermittent between both sites.
