Before the incident

The Employee was working in the kettle (mixing) area of our mousse cake line

What happened

Employee was preparing tiramisu and connecting the transfer pump at the kettle station. At the same time the Sanitation team was cleaning [REDACTED] #1 and draining hot water (approximately 150–180°F). After completing the pump connections the employee stepped backward and his left foot came into contact with the hot water on the floor.
