Before the incident

Line clearance activities. He was shoveling up full cans from floor into gondola and then moving gondola to trash dock area.

What happened

EE reported to the Shift [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] that he injured his right elbow [REDACTED] ([REDACTED]) while trying to push a gondola from the [REDACTED] shuttle area to the trash dock area. EE stated that he had difficulty pushing the gondola because plastic wrap was wrapped around one of the wheels. When pushing the gondola the gondola wheel would seize up and he would have to lean in with additional force to move the gondola. This happened 2-3 times. Finally he stopped to clear the wrap from the wheel. He could not get all of the wrap removed. He said that he notified a retort operator on 1st shift of his issues with this gondola. EE reported to PIC that he also was involved in shoveling cans from the ground into the gondola. This task likely also contributed to the injury
