Before the incident

Employee was using a hammer drill to set some concrete anchors to repair a guide rail in the J rack. Employee had already completed 3 holes when he felt discomfort in his right eye. Employee used the eye wash station and it provided some relief but did not completely relieve the discomfort. Upon returning from the Emergency Room it was confirmed that some concrete fragments from the holes he drilled entered his right eye and had to be removed.
