Before the incident

Employee was instructed to take stuff down from the roof of maintenance office that has been sitting up there for some time.

What happened

Employee was using a ladder to climb up and grab the items off of the maintenance office. The employee stretched out to turn a box he realized it was too heavy. Immediately the employee 's back was straining and they were in a lot of pain. He didn 't realize how bad the pain was until he got off the ladder.
