What happened

[REDACTED] constantly cycled and the injured worker believed he knew the issue: a dirty photo eye. The injured worker used his finger to pass the guard to wipe the photo eye. In this instance he stuck his finger through the hole of the photo eye exposing the tip of his left middle finger that was sheared off resulting in the partial amputation of approximately .6 centimeters of the finger.
