Hammering T-posts into slope.

During the hammering of the T-posts the individual raised the Hammer slightly too high with the T-post slipping out of the cylindrical hammer casing. Since he was hammering he continued the motion to hammer down causing the handle of the hammer where his hand was gripped to smash against the T-post and cause the injury. Additionally since the hammering was being performed on the slope of a work platform firm footing may have also contributed to the injury.
