What happened

Team member was loading [REDACTED] and a part fell onto his foot. More detail to come as injury was reported late and we did not get immediate details from TM. TM will be going to the doctor. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was injured from dropping a beam on his foot. He contacted me [REDACTED] before our shift started to let me know that he was injured and was unable to come in to work because he can barely walk as he stated. I asked him if he was wearing steel toe shoes at the time of injury and he said he was. I let him know that I have work that he can do sitting down and he can come in [REDACTED]. He decided to call in I let him know that this will be unpaid time. He said he will ice his injury. I touched base with my team leaders and he did not alert anyone on the leadership team that he had hurt himself [REDACTED] or we could have properly performed first aid immediately for him. In the first day on the job training packet that [REDACTED] completed he was trained on the safe handling of
