What happened

Employee was fixing a bin when a nail ricocheted and penetrated through the left side of his nose.

Injury or illness

Left side of the nose was penetrated. Nose did not bleed until nail was removed at hospital. Employee claimed to feel no pain until nail was removed.

Nail directly perforating the nose of employee nail was about 1 inch in length.
