An SCD machine was placed on the top counter at the nurse 's station in PSU near the telemetry monitor. The cords were hanging down touching the ground. The employee passed by the nurse 's station and stripped on the cords falling onto both hands and left knee. Felt pain to both hands left knee and left hip. Employee applied ice to palm of right hand. Employee continued shift.
