This RN stuck with contaminated Braun [REDACTED] catheter as a direct result of this device NOT having a 1-handed safety retract-button such as the BD catheters. These catheters result in more blown veins more attempts more catheters pulled out when activating the safety device and more staff injury than I have ever seen in my 22 years of critical care nursing. The lack of the 1-hand activated safety retraction is insane; it has demonstrated poor performance and satisfaction to patients at best
