What happened

Surgeon was debulking and cut through a vessel. The vessel was bleeding and during suturing of the vessel I tried to put pressure on the vessel to slow the bleeding for better visualization. I was inadvertently stuck with the needle. I immediately disrobed and soaked the stick in betadine and washed the affected area.
