Before the incident

Employee was inserting screws in holes that were being drilled by his coworker on the wood.

What happened

As the employee was hammering screws he is supporting the wood with his foot angled sideways. His coworker drilled a hole on the wood that his foot was next to and ends up drilling though the wood into his foot with a 12-inch drill bit puncturing his foot. The employees were not using the proper equipment or communicating to one another.
