The unit had a UV light bulb purification system inside. IE removed the UV bulbs during the cleaning process. Upon completion of the cleaning IE attempted to put the UV bulbs back in. During that process IE had the bulbs turned on to see if they were in working order. IE received burns to their eyes due to UV exposure from the bulbs
