Before the incident

The driver was lowering the liftgate to prepare to complete her delivery.

What happened

The driver was unloading a dewar at the customer site. After lowering the liftgate and placing the cylinder cart on the ground nearby she was manually maneuvering the dewar from the liftgate to the asphalt. When the dewar reached the lip of the liftgate it slid out from the bottom and the top tipped back and struck her right thigh.
