Before the incident

Walking into the building

What happened

I was walking through the parking lot when I reached the overhang on the left side (when facing entrance to building 1) I slid on ice and fell forward onto my chest. The fall pushed my eyeglasses into my face mangling my eyeglasses and causing cuts bruising and swelling to the right side of my face. Instinctively reached forward with my hands to brace the fall which caused cuts bleeding swelling and bruising to my hands. Initially difficult to breathe or move.
