Employee reports was attempting an IV in patients left arm and was unable to get it in. Instead applied pressure to open wound as patient was on blood thinners some of the blood got onto employees skin through a tear in his glove; there was a small laceration under the glove where employee believes he could have hit his hand on Ambulance door.
