Before the incident

Pulling carrier into position in the maintenance spore.

What happened

Team Member was pulling the carrier into position preparing to attach a brush to the second trolley so it could get pulled through to clean the track. The second team member working with injured team member prematurely opened the access side panel before the carrier was safely past this opening. Causing the carrier trolley to slip out of the track allowing the intermediate bar to come down on the team member 's hand.
