Setup Operator was catching bundles on Line 3A and strapping them. A strap missed the groove in the partition and he was cutting the strap off with a jknife safety knife to restrap it. As the blade cut through the strap the tip of the blade guard went into his left hand between the thumb and index finger causing a cut that was approximately 1 inch long..
