Injected pt with LAI pt stated oh god and RN worried about pt getting dizzy passing out as he requested to stand up during injection. RN thought needled had locked and placed in other hand when reaching for band aid to place on pt after making sure he was okay needle stick occurred as needle was not fully locked.
