Before the incident

Exiting Delivery vehicle approaching the residence.

What happened

Driver pulled into driveway and proceeded to make his delivery. Upon climbing the stairs on the front porch the driver noticed a dog laying down and not showing any aggression. Driver completed the delivery and turned around to leave. It was now that the driver noticed the dog was on a chain and went to walk around thinking the chain would hold the dog. The dog lunged and bit the driver on his left wrist.
