Before the incident

Exiting delivery vehicle and approached the residence.

What happened

Driver was preforming a delivery at the customers address. The driver pulled into the driveway and parked his van. The dog at the time was inside the house. The driver exited his van and upon reaching the front door the dog presented it self and started jumping. Its head bumped the door handle for the storm door at the address and opened the door. After the dog exited the house it lunged at the driver grabbing a hold of his groin area and biting down. From there the driver tried to fight the dog off which proved successful. At which time the customer heard the events and came to the drivers aid. After patching himself up management instructed him to drive to the nearest ER to get a full treatment.
