Before the incident

Employee was loading welded bumpers onto a pallet using a hoist stacking them on top of each other.

What happened

When employee stacked bumper on top of another bumper she thought the bumper was fully sitting on the other bumper when she removed the hoist hook the bumper fell approximately 2-3 inches catching her left ring finger bwtween the bumpers.
