Before the incident
Coworker was sandblasting when the unit stopped working. Coworker put set the hose down and took helmet off to see if he could figure out why the unit stopped working. Coworker checked wiring and found the splice and when he touch the splice the snadblasting gun activated.

Nozzle was re-energized and shot out sand into coworkers left side ofhead.
