Discarding glass vials into a sharps container

What happened

A vial hit the side of the of the sharps container and fell onto the floor breaking. During cleanup they used an asceptic wipe to clean smaller pieces of glass after using a tool for larger pieces. A large piece was missed and cut the employee when they touched it.
