Helping a nurse and ED tech to hold a patient so an IV could be started.

Employee was holding onto patients are that the nurse was starting the IV in. Once the nurse got the IV inserted and went to attach a syringe to collect blood out of the IV blood came out of the canula and onto the employees wrist where the patient had been scratching and digging into her skin.
