What happened

[REDACTED] was in the process of loading a truck with the overhead crane. He placed material on the bed of the truck then started to walk around the side of the load to remove the straps. [REDACTED] was still lowering the spreader bar while he was moving to the side of the load. When he placed his hand on top of the load to steady his while walking the bar came down on his hand.
