What happened

Associate was loading a batch of shortening blocks (8 blocks batch at 50lbs each). The shortening got stuck in the pipes which required them to bleed off the shortening and then add 4-5 additional shortening blocks. Associate stated that they were sore when they came to work from the night before (soreness like after working out). Sometime between [REDACTED] associate stated that their pain had become unbearable and they reported to their Team Leader that their back was hurt and they were going to the ER. [REDACTED] stated that the associate told him that their back was sore and they were going to go home. Associate stated that they had pain on the left side of their back from their shoulder blade to their lower back.
