The operator was sanding parts using a belt sander reemer and dynafile. The operator finished his shift on [REDACTED] went home to sleep and woke up because something was irritating his left eye. He went to the doctor and they extracted a metal shaving from his left eye. At his doctor 's visit he stated that while being at work he felt sand in his eye. Upon eye exam a piece of aluminum was removed. Small corneal abrasion noted. He was prescribed antibiotic eye drops.
