What happened

Stack of veneer stalled on the conveyor and started to shingle forward and employee placed his hand near the bottom corner of the load to advance it. As the load rolled forward his hand was caught between the veneer load and the cull board and the weight of the load smashed the side of his left middle finger causing the laceration.
