Driver locked himself out of the truck at the shipper

What happened

He stepped onto the tire of the truck to see if there was a key hidden under the hood of the truck. He did not maintain 3 points of contact with the vehicle and when he was stepping down he lost his footing and fell backward onto his back and left elbow.

Injury or illness

Initially reported swelling and soreness in his left shoulder two days after the incident (late report). Followed up with doctor on the next day and reported bilateral shoulder pain.
