cooker pin roller and bearing replacement

What happened

C shift crew was working on cooker 4 pin roller. Task was to replace worn pin roller bearing and to identify any additional damage to the pin roller. The north side bearing was removed off the end of the pin roller. Upon turning the pin roller to inspect for damage the pin roller fell out of the mounting slot located on the cooker frame. The employee had his hand approximately 18 inches below the pin roller on the proofer frame palm down. The roller fell on the backside of his hand.
