What happened

He was putting the lift gate away and the safety flipper that keeps the pallet jack from rolling off of the end of the lift gate has been broken so it doesn 't stay down. When it sticks up it prevents the lift gate from closing. He was holding it down with his hand and the lift gate closed pinching his finger between 2 pieces of the lift gate. He was able to lift the apart with his other hand and free his pinched finger. He had heavy leather gloves on and still was bleeding.
