Loading compactor on to truck

On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] our driver was lowering a compactor onto his rails when he noticed that the auto tarp arms were stuck beneath the compactor. He stopped lowering the compactor and used his hand to pull the auto tarp arm away from the compactor. While doing so he struck his finger. At this point he called in to his supervisor and told him what had happened he thought it was a partial amputation and his supervisor [REDACTED] called [REDACTED]. The driver was taken to the hospital where he was assessed his finger was not amputated or broken. He needed 9 stitches.
