What happened

Employee was welding and smug flew off and landed between jeans and knee pad burning skin on [REDACTED]. Employee did not tell HR until [REDACTED] but he just stated that he might need to leave early on [REDACTED] due to a burn he had but he never told HR that the burn was from work. Over [REDACTED] break he called HR on [REDACTED] and told HR that the burn had happened at work so it was a workman 's comp. injury and he thought the burn may be infected. So HR sent him to urgent care first day open [REDACTED].
