What happened

While removing soiled sheets from a patient 's stretcher EE was stuck by a sharp in the left thumb. Did bleed from the site. Radiology manager was present and a witness. After handwashing EE went to the ED labs and the source patient 's labs were drawn. Nursing Supervisor was notified.
