What happened

EE was in the hallway when said patient became angry with increased paranoia and agitation directing it towards EE. [REDACTED] began cursing using racial slurs and posturing towards staff. Staff currently on a 1 to 1 and moved themselves and 1 to 1 down the hall. [REDACTED] then came behind EE and swung their fist making contact with EE 'smouth. EE attempted to secure patient from further assaultive behavior. [REDACTED] continued assaulting EE punching EE in the head.
