What happened

EE was called to draw patient in ER bed 2. Patient at first was agreeable. When about to draw patient they refused and got verbally hostile. They came in to talk to patient. EE held the patients arm so EE could draw blood. The patient after EE removed the needle grabbed EE wrist and scratched EE causing a cut. The nurses took the blood from EE labeled it and sent EE registration to be assessed and tested. The patient also tried to spit on EE.
