What happened

EE hooked 7W-1249 casting and tried removing the chain while the casting was still suspended. When EE unhooked the chain the casting center of gravity shifted and fell. This resulted in EE trying to catch the casting which then crushed his finger between the dropped casting and the sand tub below.
