Employee was searching for material located in the upper level of rack 46.001. They were still looking towards the rack for the material as they walked away from the area. The employee walked towards the backside of the forklift battery charging station with the intention of moving further away from the rack to improve their viewing angle. As the employee started to walk around the side of the charging station their right foot struck a floor mounted 8.5” tall barrier and they fell to the floor.
