I was drawingcompleting blood cultures for this patient After I took the vacutainer offit was going to fall off the counter I grabbed the vacutainer while it was starting to fall and my middle finger when into where the covered needle was When I grasped the container is when I felt the puncture on my middle finger on the left side I saw the rip in my glove and washed my hands immediately The vacutainer had already been used to transfer the patient s blood to the vials Ouch line called360 referred
