What happened

Went in to draw lab on my patient I explained to him what I was doing and he mumbled ok I then placed the tourniquet on his arm and explained again that I was getting ready to stick him and he mumbled again ok so I went to stick him and he jerked his arm back and yelled that he didn 't need his lab drawn. I told him that I was drawing a different lab and that yes he did need it drawn and when I looked down I noticed blood in my glove.
