Before the incident

Assisting with pt positioning in the OR was turning the pt from supine to prone position. Was assisting with moving of the pt 's legs.

What happened

Was helping the surgical team in pt positioning for their surgery. Was assisting with moving the legs and when placed hands under the pt 's legs to move them felt a stick through my gloves. The stick was found to be from the neuro monitor pins attached to the pt.
