Before the incident
Forklift operator [REDACTED] traveling east entering the stores staging area. [REDACTED] had 2 pallets of eggs on his forks. This cargo clearly blocked forward line of sight. [REDACTED] had just passed the gate next to the marshalling area to enter the staging zone and failed to see the other forklift driver [REDACTED]. Ms. [REDACTED] was in his path of travel as she was entering the area to return to the lot and he struck her forklift. The impact displaced the cargo sending it into [REDACTED]. No serious injuries but [REDACTED] did state she wanted to go to a walk-in clinic to be checked out. Both drivers were sent for a drug and alcohol screening and will have 24 hours to submit results.
