Trimming meat at meat cutting station

Employee was working on trimming some beef roasts for Beef Stew. While doing this they ended up cutting their middle finger on left hand. While examining the cut it appeared to be deep enough to seek medical attention. Employee ended up leaving and going to the doctors office to see if there was something that could be done with it and did not return to work for the day.
