trying to clear pan jam

What happened

employee was trying to clear pan jam in the bread pan switch it was stuck in vertical position. employee turned off all disconnects and e-stops in area and released pan pressure pan still would not come loose. With forceful excursion employee pushed pan up wards and pan broke free causing his hand to get wedged between the pan and conveyor causing fracture to tip of left little pinky finger.
