What happened

I was driving up [REDACTED] preparing to turn left to [REDACTED] from the [REDACTED] . There are 2 lanes of opposing traffic and they have a red light. A driver on the opposing side flashes her light for me to drive as I 'm inching to turn I notice there is no oncoming traffic in the 2nd lane so I proceeded my turn. In the midst of me turning I hear tires screeching and notice a subaru crashing in to the front drive side of the [REDACTED] vehicle. I also noticed tire marks from the other vehicle hitting their brakes
