What happened

I was attempting to open a CBU while lifting the lever inside the box. I felt a strain in my right hand from my thumb and pointer finger up to my wrist i continued to delivery my mail as i only had 4 stops left. The more i used my hand the worse it felt. by the time i return to the station my hand became swollen twice the size and the pain was horrible.
